The futuaba dot matrix displays in our window have been found for €5 on a Flohmarkt some while ago but not been activated yet.
The precise model is GP1045A03A, it is double sided, presumably chained, but the pcbs are exactly the same and for operating them independently some ICs need to be moved around.
